§ 72.27 OVERNIGHT PARKING PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Overnight parking prohibited. Except as otherwise set forth in this section or § 72.34, when signs are erected at the entrances of highways into the Village or at other locations on Village property, giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle on the public streets or on Village property, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. of any day, except physicians on calls.
   (B)   Temporary permits. Temporary permits to park a vehicle on the street overnight may be informally approved for periods during which construction is occurring on a resident’s property. To obtain such approval, a resident must show that building permits have been pulled. Approval for temporary parking requests terminate upon completion of the construction or earlier where the construction no longer prevents parking on the property.
   (C)   Call-in parking exceptions. A call-in exception to the overnight parking prohibition may be obtained by calling the Police Department between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. immediately prior to the overnight period for which parking is requested and providing the Department with the resident name, address, vehicle make, model and license plate number and parking location. Such requests are limited to 5 times each calendar month for each dwelling unit in the Village. Such requests may be denied in the discretion of the Village Manager, or his or her designee, where there is reason to believe the request would jeopardize the health, welfare and safety of the Village’s residents.
