(A) It shall be unlawful to park, stop or stand any vehicle other than an electric vehicle, as such vehicles are designated and defined in § 13.15 of the zoning code, in a designated electric vehicle charging station space. Any vehicle other than an electric vehicle parked, stopped or standing in a charging station space is subject to fine and/or impoundment of the offending vehicle.
(B) No person shall park, stop or stand an electric vehicle, as such vehicles are designated and defined in § 13.15 of the zoning code, in a designated electric vehicle charging station space while not plugged in to the charging station(s). Any electric vehicle parked, stopped or standing in a charging station space and not plugged in to the charging station is subject to fine and/or impoundment of the offending vehicle.
(C) The violation of any provision of this Code not pertaining to prohibiting or restricting vehicular standing, stopping or parking shall be punishable as an ordinance violation. Punishment shall be by a fine not to exceed the fine prescribed in accordance with § 39.99 of this Code.
