§ 51.72 LAWN SPRINKLING.

Lawn sprinkling shall not be permitted between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. daily during the period of May 15 to September 15. Lawn sprinkling shall not occur on consecutive days. New lawns, which are less than 3 months old, shall be exempt from the foregoing restrictions. All new and replacement sprinkler systems shall be equipped with a WaterSense labeled irrigation controller and be in compliance with the Illinois Plumbing License Law, 225 ILCS 320/2.5(g).
