The Village may lease a water hydrant meter upon the submission of a completed application form provided by the Public Works Department, payment of a refundable deposit, and approval of the application by the Director of Public Works or the Director’s designee. The refundable deposit is $1,000. The user of the meter shall be billed at the rates established in § 51.02. The refundable deposit will be offset by the amount of water billed and the balance will be refunded within 7 business days of return of the meter.
