§ 122.02 GENERAL REGULATION.
   (A)   No pay telephone shall be allowed in the Village unless the owner/operator possesses a valid certificate of service authority to provide pay telephone service granted by the Illinois Commerce Commission or some other government body with jurisdiction.
   (B)   Each owner or operator of a pay telephone within the Village is required to file proof of such valid certificate of service authority by January 1 of each year with the Office of the Village Clerk. Along with a valid certificate, each owner/operator must provide, on a form provided by the Clerk, contact information for the owner/operator, a list of pay telephone locations owned and/or operated by the owner/operator within the Village, and such other information as the Clerk may require. Upon filing of the appropriate information, and verification of its accuracy by the Village Clerk, a Village of Maywood Certificate of Compliance shall issue relative to each pay telephone location for which information has been provided. Any pay telephone that fails to file a valid certificate of authority, fails to provide additional information required by the Clerk hereunder, or is maintained or operated without the issuance of a Village of Maywood Certificate of Compliance is a pay telephone that is a public nuisance under § 122.05 of this Code that is subject to summary abatement pursuant to § 92.22 and other applicable sections of this Code and state law.
