1522.02 BUILDING SYSTEMS SIGNAGE REQUIREMENT.

   (a)   All building system signage by the Ohio Fire Code shall be constructed of a permanent and durable material; lettering shall be a minimum of four (4) inches high with a minimum stroke of one-half (0.5) inches; color schemes shall either be red letters on white background or white letters on red background.

   (b)   Exception: When buildings or tenants have an existing signage template or building identification system, the Fire marshal may review and approve the use of the owner's signage except for the fire protection equipment locations.
