1505.04 REQUIREMENTS.

   (a)    The quantity and locations of the AED's shall be determined by the Mayfield Village Fire Chief, or the Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal, and shall be based on factors including, but not limited to, the size and security features of the facility, and activities conducted within the facility, so as to be accessible in the event of an emergency, in accordance with American Heart Association recommendations and guidelines.

   (b)    For new business occupancies, the Village's Building Department, will notify the Division of Fire, the Chief of Fire, or their designee during the building plans review process to review and approve the number and installation locations for AED devices and shall inspect the establishment to confirm the AED devices have been installed as approved prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy.
