1505.02 DEFINITIONS.

For purpose of this chapter, the term "automated external defibrillator" means a portable electronic apparatus used to counteract atrial or ventricular fibrillation by application of a brief electric shock to the heart and designed to be automated such that it can be used by persons without substantial medical training who are responding to a cardiac emergency.
