SECTION 5. CLERK OF COUNCIL.
The Clerk of Council shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of Council. The Clerk shall give notice of the Council meetings, keep the journal of its proceedings, authenticated by the Clerk's signature and recorded in full, in a book kept for the purpose, all ordinances and resolutions of Council and perform such other duties as shall be required by this Charter or by ordinance or resolution of the Council.
