1383.04 TYPE OF EQUIPMENT AND APPROVAL OF PLANS.

Automatic fire suppression equipment shall be connected to an adequate water supply or other approved extinguishing agent. All heads, valves and auxiliary equipment shall be approved and suitable for its intended use. No automatic fire suppression system shall be installed or altered in a building until plans have been submitted to and been approved by the Building Commissioner and Fire Department Plan reviewer.
