1365.04 COMPLIANCE WITH CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION.

   No person, agent, firm or corporation shall sell, by land contract or otherwise, any interest in any residential structure or unit without furnishing the prospective buyer, prior to sale, a current Certificate of Inspection. When an escrow has been established, there shall be deposited in escrow, prior to delivery of possession or transfer of title, a statement from the prospective buyer acknowledging receipt of Certificate of Inspection. There shall furthermore be required a statement signed by the owner and prospective buyer indicating which of the parties shall accept responsibility for full compliance with the regulations of the Board of Health.
