1309.04 LUMP SUM PERMIT FEE; EXCEPTIONS.
(a) Single-Family Dwelling. For construction of a new single-family dwelling, a total lump sum permit fee of one thousand four hundred dollars ($1,400.00) shall be charged for all permits issued pursuant to the original plans as approved. This will include the cost of all permits issued for construction, heating and air conditioning, plumbing and electrical work, certificate of occupancy and final inspection.
The permit holder/sub-contractors shall be required to obtain permits for the separate portions of the work herein after described and shall insure necessary inspections and approvals are given, however, no separate permit fee shall be paid. The lump sum permit fee shall not include the cost of a permit for the construction of accessory buildings.
(b) Two-Family Dwelling. For construction of new two-family dwellings the same provisions will apply as provided in subsection (a) hereof pertaining to single-family dwellings, except that the lump sum permit fee for each two-family dwelling shall be two thousand eight hundred dollars ($2,800.00).
(c) Multi-Family/Apartment Building. For construction of all multi-family/apartment buildings, the same provisions will apply as provided in subsection (a) hereof pertaining to single- family dwellings, except that the lump sum permit fee for each separate building there shall be added two hundred dollars ($200.00) for the first floor plus one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for each additional floor, plus one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each suite in the building. In addition, there shall be paid two dollars ($2.00) for each 100 square feet or fraction thereof of garage space whether the garage is attached to the building or not. This lump sum fee shall include the original occupancy but not the cost of any subsequent annual inspections.
