971.10 PERMIT REQUIRED; FEE.

A permit from the Building Department shall be required before the installation of any alarm covered by Section 971.03. Each permit application shall be accompanied by a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for an alarm system in a residential premises and fifty dollars ($50.00) for an alarm system in all other premises. For purposes of this section, a permit application for the installation of an alarm system connected to both the Police Department and Fire Department shall require only one permit fee if both alarms are to be installed at the same time thereby requiring only one inspection under Section 971.03(c).
