   761.01 PERMIT REQUIRED.
   No person, firm or corporation shall remove snow for hire from private driveways in the Municipality by means of commercial snow removal vehicles or machines without first securing a permit from the Building Department for such purpose and attaching a sticker evidencing the issuance of such permit to the windshield of such vehicle.

   761.02 PERMIT APPLICATION; FEE; EFFECTIVE PERIOD.
   Prior to the issuance of each permit, the applicant shall furnish the make and model of the vehicle to be used and the name, address and telephone number of the owner and operator of such vehicle. A permit shall be required for each and every vehicle that shall be used to plow snow for hire from private driveways within the Municipality. Each applicant shall pay the sum as set forth in Chapter 767, Fee Schedule at Section 767.761(a) for the permit required. In the event that some person, firm or corporation has more than one such vehicle intended for use within the Municipality, then, in that event, the permit fee for each additional vehicle shall be the sum as set forth in Chapter 767, Fee Schedule at Section 767.761(a). Each permit shall remain in effect from October 15 to April 15 of the following year.

   761.03 DEPOSITING SNOW ON PUBLIC STREETS OR PRIVATE PROPERTY.
   (a)    Discharging or depositing of snow by truck, plow, blower or other snow removal equipment on to any street or highway is prohibited except for accumulations which are necessary residuals of street or roadway cleaning operations by the Municipality or other public authority.
   (b)    Any person being the operator or the owner or in charge of any vehicle from which such substance has fallen, sifted, been pushed or deposited upon the surface of a public street or highway in violation of this section shall, on the direction of any member of the police, fire or Service Departments of the Municipality, immediately remove such substance from the highway.
   (c)    No person, being the operator or the owner or in charge of any vehicle removing snow from a private driveway shall deposit the snow upon any other property except that from which the snow is removed.
