§ 72.10 EMERGENCY USE OF STREETS PERMITTED; POLICE; FIRE DEPARTMENTS.
   (A)   Notwithstanding any prohibitions in this chapter, a snowmobile, recreational vehicle, or ATV may be operated on a public street in an emergency situation during the period of time when, and at locations where, snow upon the street renders travel by automobile impractical.
   (B)   This chapter does not prohibit use of snowmobiles, recreational vehicles, and all-terrain vehicles by police, fire or emergency personnel operating in the course of their authorized duties.
