§ 33.16 FIRE CHIEF; SELECTION AND DUTIES.
   The members of the Department shall select one of their members to be the Fire Chief. Selection shall be approved or disapproved by the Council. The Fire Chief shall serve until another Chief is elected by members of the Department, unless earlier removed by Council. The Fire Chief shall have full control of and over the Department and shall have other powers and duties, and keep records, as are prescribed by law, and as the Council may determine.
