§ 33.15 VOLUNTEER DEPARTMENT; MEMBERS.
   (A)   There shall be a city volunteer Fire Department.

   (B)   The Fire Department shall consist of the Fire Chief, the Assistant Fire Chief, the Training Officer and other members as may be determined. All members of the Department shall be able-bodied, not less than 18 years of age, and shall be a high school graduate or have an equivalent general education diploma. Members shall be appointed by the Fire Chief, subject to confirmation by the City Council. Firefighters shall continue as members of the Volunteer Fire Department during good behavior until retirement, but may be removed by the City Council for cause after a public hearing.
