§ 32.04 APPOINTMENT OR TERMINATION OF OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF COMPANIES.
   (A) Acceptance of new membership with the Fire Department shall be by a majority vote of the current Volunteer Fire Department membership and confirmed by a majority vote of the City Council. Each member of the Department is entitled to one vote. A majority vote of current Volunteer Fire Department members shall be necessary to acquire new membership. Volunteer Fire Department meetings are closed to non-members during the voting process.
   (B)   Appointment or termination of officers of the Fire Department shall be by majority vote of City Council at a regular City Council meeting.
