§ 30.02 CITY SECRETARY.
   (A)   The Mayor shall appoint or terminate the City Secretary subject to confirmation by the City Council. The City Secretary shall have those powers and duties as prescribed in the Tex. Local Gov’t Code § 22.073.
   (B)   The City Secretary shall serve as Treasurer of the city and shall have the powers and duties of the Treasurer as prescribed in the Tex. Local Gov’t Code § 22.075.
   (C)   The City Secretary shall serve as Municipal Court Clerk and shall have the powers and duties as prescribed in the Tex. Government Code § 29.010.
   (D)   That this section shall become effective immediately from and after its passage.
