§ 110.01 GENERAL BUSINESS LICENSES.
   (A)   It shall be necessary to obtain a license from the village in order to engage in any general business or service in the village, provided, however, that if such service or business being conducted in the village consists of displays for trade shows, craft shows or short term events, and said events are for a period of no more than five consecutive days, and are not held more than three times in anyone fiscal year, then in such event, said business or service shall not be required to obtain a general business license as required herein.
   (B)   In the event there is no specific fee for a particular business, the annual fee shall be based upon the total area utilized for business operations or the area under the control of the business, excluding, loading docks and parking areas:

   (C)   Licenses shall be issued on an annual basis for each calendar business operation or portion of a calendar year. Applications for business licenses with the requisite fee payment shall be submitted to the Village Clerk in person as provided in § 110.03 or postmarked on before December 31 of the preceding calendar year.
