Prior to the dismissal of an employee for noncompliance with the residency provisions of this subchapter, the Village Administrator shall conduct an investigation of all relevant facts concerning the employee’s failure to maintain residency in the village. Within seven days after the written notice of dismissal by the Village Administrator, the decision of the Village Administrator may be appealed in writing by the dismissed employee to the President and Board of Trustees, and they shall render a decision within 30 days after receipt of the appeal.
