Fines and penalties shall be imposed in accordance with this code of ordinances, or where no fine or penalty is expressed in this code of ordinances, the Hearing Officer may impose a fine or penalty according to his or her judgment. However, in no case may the fines imposed by the Hearing Officer exceed $750 per violation per day, or a maximum of $2,500 for all code violations relating to buildings or structures.
