§ 32.090 PURPOSE.
   In order that adequate provisions be made for the preparation of a comprehensive municipal plan for the guidance, direction and control of the growth and development of the municipality, a Plan Commission, which shall be a department of the municipal government, is created under authority of 65 ILCS 5/11-12-4.
