(A) Before entering on the duties of his or her office, the Village Administrator shall furnish a surety bond in the amount of $75,000 approved by the Board of Trustees, this bond to be conditioned on the faithful performance of his or her duties. The premium of the bond shall be paid by the village.
(B) Before entering on the duties of his or her office, the Village Administrator shall take and subscribe the oath prescribed by 65 ILCS 5/3.1-10-25.
