(A) The Village Treasurer shall perform such lawful duties as may be prescribed by ordinance or otherwise by the Board of Trustees or Village Administrator. He or she shall pay out money only on vouchers, bills or orders properly approved by the Village Board. All warrants must be signed by the President and countersigned by the Clerk stating the particular find or appropriation to which the same is chargeable and the person to whom payable.
(B) The Village Treasurer shall deposit the village funds in such depositories as may be selected from time to time as provided by law.
(C) The Village Treasurer shall keep records showing all money received and paid by him or her showing the source from which it is received and the purpose for which it is paid, and showing the financial status of the village.
