4-1-1: ANIMALS:
   A.   Keeping Livestock In Unhealthy Or Offensive Manner: Any person, firm or corporation who shall keep, use or occupy any pen, yard, lot, enclosure, stable, barn or any building whatever, in which any cattle, sheep, hogs, horses or other animals are kept yarded or confined in such manner as to be unhealthy or offensive to the people residing in the vicinity shall be deemed the author of a nuisance and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00). (1993 Code § 2-6-3)
   B.   Dead Animals: It shall be unlawful for any person to bring or cause to be brought, or who shall counsel, advise or assist in bringing any dead animal within the corporate limits of the village and leave the same to putrefy herein, or who being the owner or in possession of any animal or animals that shall die therein, and knowing of the death, shall not remove the same immediately to a place not less than one-half (1/2) mile from the corporate limits of the village, or bury the same at a depth of not less than three feet (3') from the surface; shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each and every offense.
