3-3-1: DEFINITION:

Any person who shall peddle from house to house, sell or offer for sale, barter or exchange any goods, wares, or merchandise, patent invention or device, or other article or thing in the village, or at, in or upon any street, avenue, alley, sidewalk, or other place within the corporate limits of the village shall be deemed to be a hawker, peddler, or solicitor.
