For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
ROADWAY: That portion of a road, street, or highway designed or ordinarily used for vehicular travel, excluding the sidewalk.
SIDEWALK: That portion of a road, street, or highway designed or ordinarily used for pedestrian travel.
SKATEBOARD: A single platform mounted on wheels, which is propelled solely by human power and which has no mechanism or other device with which to steer or to control the movement or direction of the platform. (1993 Code § 2-8-2)
