6-4-1: INTENT AND PURPOSE:
The village finds and declares that the provisions of this chapter are enacted for the following reasons:
   A.   To establish safety requirements for the operators of skateboards; and
   B.   To establish regulations banning, or, where permitted, governing the operation of skateboards on the roadways, paths and sidewalks of the village. (1993 Code § 2-8-1)
