The mission of the Commission on Disabilities is to seek out potential issues for individuals with disabilities in order to eliminate any boundaries within the City and create a community that is integrated and accessible for all people. The Commission will advise City officials on policies and infrastructure changes that allow persons with disabilities, and their families, full access to the community. The Commission will consist of ten members appointed by the Mayor. Each member shall be appointed for one four-year term and may continue to serve for one additional four-year term thereafter.
