(a) Any unapproved or defective plumbing ordered repaired or replaced by the Building Official shall be corrected within seventy- two hours, or such other period specified from the date of written notice.
(b) It shall be the duty of the Building Official or his duly appointed assistants to place a notice prohibiting occupancy on any building or dwelling in the City where the plumbing is in such condition as to render the same unsanitary and unsafe for human habitation or occupancy, and such notice shall not be removed except by authority of the Building Official or his duly appointed assistants, after inspection has determined that safe and adequate repairs have been made.
