(a) The Safety Service Director is hereby authorized to charge a fee of five hundred and fifty dollars ($550.00) for a Basic Life Support (BLS) emergency.
(b) The Safety Service Director is hereby authorized to charge a fee of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00) for a level 1 Advanced Life Support (ALS1) emergency.
(c) The Safety Service Director is hereby authorized to charge a fee of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) for a Level 2 Advanced Life Support (ALS2) emergency.
(d) The Safety Service Director is hereby authorized to charge a fee of thirteen dollars ($13.00) per mile of transport to a hospital.

(e) City residents will be required to pay to the extent of their private or public medical insurance coverage. Co-Payments and Deductibles will not be sought from residents. Residency is determined by address at the time of transport.
(f) Non-residents will be billed for any Co-Payments and Deductibles. In the event a non-resident does not have insurance, he/she will be responsible for the full amount of the bill.
(g) No person shall be denied services due to a lack of insurance or an inability to pay. (Ord. 116-2009. Passed 11-2-09.)
(h) The Safety Service Director is hereby authorized to charge a fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) to any Medical Facility, Healthcare Facility or Custodial Care Center that summons the Fire Department to provide lifting assistance for one of its patients.
