There is established a Municipal Ordinance Violations Bureau ("Bureau") as authorized under section 8396 of 1961 PA 236 (MCL 600.8396). The Bureau shall accept admissions of responsibility for municipal civil infractions in response to municipal civil infraction violation notices issued and served by authorized city officials and collect and retain civil fines and costs pursuant to a schedule as provided by ordinance.
