§ 151.077 EMERGENCY ACTIONS.
   Whenever an Administrator finds that an emergency exists on any premises, or in any structure or part thereof, or on any defective equipment which requires immediate action to protect the public’s health and safety or the health and safety of the occupants therein, the Administrator shall, with proper notice and service in accordance with the provisions stated herein, issue an order reciting the existence of an emergency and requiring the vacating of the premises or the action takes as the Code Enforcement Administrator deems necessary to meet an emergency. Notwithstanding other provisions of this code to the contrary, the order shall be effective immediately and the premises or equipment involved shall be posted immediately upon service of the order. A copy of that order shall be delivered to the Mayor and members of the Village Board immediately after it is issued.
