This code establishes the minimum requirements for the initial and continued occupancy and use of all structures and premises, but does not replace or modify requirements otherwise established by prior codes, ordinances, the Housing Code and Building Code, which may be additional or more stringent than the requirements set forth herein for the construction, repair, alteration or use of structures, equipment or facilities.
