There shall be no refunds on building permits.
(A) Permit for new construction, additions and attached garages.
(1) Single-family residential, includes complete structure:
(a) Up to 900 square feet: $175.
(b) Over 900 square feet: $175, plus $.15 per square feet.
(2) Multiple-family and commercial and industrial: the building permit fee schedule for all commercial, industrial and other non-residential use buildings shall be as set forth in a separate schedule incorporated by reference herein.
(B) Repair and alterations; residential and multiple family. Any repairs/alterations, including decks and accessory buildings which require footings and/or foundations: minimum $50, plus $8 per $1,000 of estimated cost over $5,000.
(C) Repair and alterations; commercial and industrial. Any repairs/alterations, including decks and accessory buildings which require footings and/or foundations: minimum $300, plus $8 per $1,000 of estimated cost over $20,000.
(D) Plumbing inspection fees.
(1) New construction – Residential: $220.
(2) New construction – Commercial: $300.
(3) Repair/alter or in a room addition – Residential: $100.
(4) Repaid/alter or in a room addition – Commercial: $200.
(5) All re-inspections which result from either the premises failing an initial inspection or for no access to the building: $100.
(E) Electrical inspection fees.
(1) New construction: $40.
(2) Change of service or addition/repair: $25.
(F) Sewage disposal system fee. The county issues permits and sets the fee schedule for septic systems.)
(1) Conventional septic system with lateral lines: check with the county.
(2) Sandfilter system and non-conventional systems: check with the county.
(G) Demolition fee. $10.
(H) Mobile homes.
(1) As granted by a special use permit: $.50 per square feet.
(2) Courts/parks, includes water, pad, sewers, electrical and incidentals: $75 per pad.
(I) In-ground or above ground swimming pools. Only those pools which require electrical and/or plumbing inspections: $125
(J) House relocation. Plus building permit fees: $150.
(K) Radio towers; TV, radio, microwave and the like. When square footage calculation is not applicable: $1,000, plus $.50 per $1,000 of estimated cost over $5,000.
(L) Bleachers. $25.
(M) Signs. $30.
(N) Costs for re-inspections (except plumbing) which result from either the premises failing an initial inspection or for no access to the building: $40. There is no charge for first re-inspection.
(O) Occupancy permit/final inspection. $15.
(P) New driveway or modification to existing driveway pavements. $10.
