A franchisee may require a reasonable, non-discriminatory deposit on equipment provided to subscribers. Deposits shall be placed in an interest-bearing account and the franchisee shall return the deposit upon return of the equipment, plus interest earned to the date repayment is made to the subscriber, less any deduction for damages to the equipment or unpaid charges.
