§ 31.13 SALARY.
   (A)   Mayor. The Mayor of the village shall receive as his or her compensation for the performance of his or her duties:
      (1)   A salary of $70,000.00 for the 12-month period beginning May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2022. Thereafter, the compensation paid to the Mayor for the performance of his or her full-time duties shall increase in three consecutive annual increments of 2.5% based on the base salary existing at the time of each increase. The three consecutive increases shall be applicable for the periods of May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023; May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024; and May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025.
      (2)   The Mayor shall receive employment benefits including but not limited to health insurance benefits and pension benefits that are consistent with the village-wide policies on the same terms and conditions as other full-time village employees.
      (3)   The Mayor shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred by him or her in attending meetings of the Village Board and for such other expenses incurred by him or her when in the course of performing duties on behalf of the village.
   (B)   Trustees. Each member of the Board of Trustees shall receive $600 per month as his or her salary.
   (C)   Appointed officials. The Clerk, Comptroller, Treasurer and Superintendents shall receive the salary fixed by the Village Board in the annual appropriation ordinance, budget or by other resolution or ordinance.

   The compensation of the Trustees indicated in division (B), as set by Ord. No. 2-22-37, will not take effect until newly elected Trustees begin their terms on or after May, 2023
