§ 92.01 BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS.
   (A)   There shall be created a Board of Park Commissioners for the Village of Maryville. The Board shall consist of 13 private citizens to be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees.(`92 Code, § 28-2-1)
   (B)   The term of each Park Commissioner shall be for a period of three years. Each staggered three year term shall expire on April 30 of each year. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term only. Park Commissioners shall serve without pay or compensation.

   (C)   The Board of Park Commissioners shall elect a Chairperson and Secretary and shall meet at such times as the Board of Park Commissioners shall determine.

   (D)   The Board of Park Commissioners shall be responsible for making recommendations to the Board of Trustees of the village with regards to the operation of village parks. The Board shall make recommendations for the regulation, control and administration for any public parks now under the control or jurisdiction of the village. The Board shall make recommendations for the acquisition and development of additional parks for and by the village. All duties of the Board of Park Commissioners are subject to the consent of the Board of Trustees of the village.
