§ 91.008 VEHICLES ON SIDEWALKS.
   (A)   No person shall operate any motorized vehicle, motor driven cycle, motor vehicle, motorcycle, motorized pedalcycle, or motorized scooter, all as defined by the Illinois Vehicle Code, ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1 et seq., on any sidewalk or curb located in the village, except to cross a sidewalk to enter or exit a driveway or parking lot. This prohibition shall not apply to motorized wheelchairs as defined by ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 1-148.3 of the Illinois Vehicle Code.
   (B)   Persons may operate bicycles and other similar devices such as skateboards and tricycles that are propelled solely by human power on sidewalks, but not on curbs, within the village.
