§ 70.99 PENALTY.

   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this traffic code for which another penalty is not already otherwise provided by ordinance or by appropriate statutory penalty as generally set forth in ILCS Chapter 625, Act 5, §§ 16-101 et seq. shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $750.

   (B)   A violation of § 73.23(B) is a petty offense with a minimum fine of $100, except a second conviction of a violation of § 73.23(B) is a Class B misdemeanor and a third or subsequent conviction of a violation of this § 73.23(B) is a Class A misdemeanor.
