§ 30.03 SPECIAL MEETINGS.
   Special meetings of the Village Board may be called by the Mayor or any three Trustees by giving at least 24 hours notice thereof by delivering to them personally written or printed notices of the time of the meeting at the residences of the Trustees. The notices shall be served by mail, by the Chief of Police or his or her designated representative. The notices shall specify the purpose of the special meeting and the business to be taken up at that time and place. The notice shall be posted at the Village Hall and shall be provided to any local newspaper of general circulation or any local radio or television station that has filed an annual request for the notice. The notice shall be provided to the news media in the same manner as the notice is given to the Mayor and members of the Village Board; provided, the news media has given the village an address within the village at which the notice may be given.
