§ 137.05 UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge or fire any type of gun or firearm within the village boundaries, regardless of whether the discharge is propelled by compressed air, gas, gunpowder, spring or any other means, except upon premises designated as a duly licensed gun club, shooting range, or target practice facility. This section does not apply to the discharge of firearms by police in the course of their duties or to persons acting in self-defense of their person or property in accordance with law. Any person who shall violate this section shall be issued a citation and shall be subject to a fine of up to $750 for each violation.
