§ 158.01 ADOPTION OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND OFFICIAL MAP.
   (A)   Adoption. The corporate authorities of the Village of Maryville, after holding a public hearing on May 28, 2013, hereby adopt as the official comprehensive plan and as the official map of the Village of Maryville a certain document entitled "Land Use and Transportation Plan Update" prepared in May, 2013 by Thomas A. Wobbe, City Planning Consultant and Juneau Engineering, Village Engineer and passed and approved by the Maryville Planning Commission on June 24, 2013.
   (B)   Advisory. Such plan shall be advisory and in and of itself shall not be construed to regulate or control the use of private property in any way, except as to such part thereof as has been implemented by ordinances duly enacted by the corporate authorities.
   (C)   Filing. Such official Comprehensive Plan including the official map shall be placed on file with the Village Clerk and shall be available at all times during business hours for public inspection.
   (D)   Recording. A certified copy of this section shall be filed with the Recorder of Madison County.
   (E)   Effective date. The official Comprehensive Plan shall become effective upon the expiration of ten days after filing with the Recorder of Madison County.
