§ 151.054.1 NUISANCES DECLARED.
   The following are hereby declared to be nuisances:
   (A)   The growth of any Canadian thistle, burdock, ragweed (giant), ragweed (common), bull thistle, yellow dock, thistle, jimsonweed, poison ivy, velvet weed, sandbur, wild mustard, sweet clover, blue verrain, common milkweed, wild carrot, rough pigweed, lambsquarter, wild lettuce, curled dock, smartweeds (all varieties), poison hemlock, wild hemp, cocklebur, orchard grass, goosefoot, or any other noxious or dangerous weed on any parcel of land owned, controlled, leased, or occupied by any person within the village.
   (B)   The growth of grass or weeds eight inches or more in height or to the extent of maturing its seeds.
   (C)   A weed is any plant that establishes itself and is not deliberately planted. Weeds that do not fall into this category of nuisance and obnoxious weeds, as defined hereunder, shall be subject to the general height restrictions for all parcels of property set forth in § 151.054.2. The term “weed” shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens.
