(A)   The Village of Maryville Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Board (“Board”) shall consist of the Fire Chief, who shall hold office by virtue of rank, and four members, consisting of two full-time personnel and two paid-on-call personnel. All four members shall be elected from all employees of the Fire Department and shall have full voting privileges on any matter before the Board. All members of the Department shall be eligible to be elected as officers of the Department Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Board. The members of this Board shall annually elect officers. These officers shall be a chairman, a treasurer, and a secretary.
   (B)   For the purposes of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      EMPLOYEE. Any full-time sworn firefighter or officer of the Maryville Fire Department.
      PAID-ON-CALL. Firefighters who are compensated for attending trainings, responding to emergency calls, and attending work details and meetings per these rules and regulations, standard operating procedures, and village ordinance, whose primary employment is not with the Maryville Fire Department.
   (C)   No probationary employee of the Department may hold an office during the period of his or her probation.
