§ 23-1001.   General.
   1.   Water quality for public water supplies shall be regulated by the Pennsylvania Safe Drinking Water Act, (35 P.S. 721.1 et seq.)
   2.   All water samples to be tested must be drawn by a trained PA DEP-certified laboratory employee or a licensed well driller or a certified water or wastewater treatment plant operator.
   3.   All water test results to be submitted to the Borough must contain the following information:
      A.   Permittee’s name;
      B.   Address of origin of sample;
      C.   Date and time of sample;
      D.   Sample location;
      E.   Well permit #;
      F.   The name of the person who took the water sample;
      G.   Statement indicating if the sample was treated or untreated; and
      H.   Certified Laboratory ID #.
   4.   Only an original laboratory analysis report of the water quality of a supply well will be accepted for final approval to use.
   5.   Falsification of any document submitted to this Borough may result in the initiation of legal action against the property owner and/or the responsible party.
