§ 20-107.   Penalties and Remedies.
   1.   Any person violating any of the provisions of this Chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each period of 10 days during which a violation of this Chapter continues. [Ord. 553]
   2.   In addition to the foregoing penalty, the Borough may require the owner or occupier of the property to remove any accumulation of refuse or abandoned or junked vehicle, and should said person fail to remove the same within 10 days of written notice, the Borough may cause the same to be done and collect the costs thereof, together with a penalty of 10% of such costs in the manner provided by law for the collection of municipal claims or by action in assumpsit or may seek relief by bill in equity.
