In case any such goods, wares, merchandise, material or equipment shall not have been redeemed by the person to whom such notice shall have been given or sent, as provided in § 15-1205 of this Part, the Codes Enforcement Officer shall be authorized to expose the same to public sale and to strike down the same to the highest bidder, upon reasonable terms and conditions set forth by the Codes Enforcement Officer.
