No junkyard or any of the activities in connection with the maintenance or operation thereof shall exist or be permitted or maintained except and unless the entire portion of the premises occupied as a junkyard, and all activities in connection therewith, including all storage or deposit of material of any kind, shall be had, maintained and conducted entirely within the enclosure of a building to the intent and purpose that no portion of the operation, either deposit or storage of materials, or any sorting, handling or treating thereof shall be had or conducted in the open.
